LOL1927 held their annual Installation of Officers for 2008 on 10th January 2008 in the Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall. It was an extra special night with the initiation of two new members Bro Mark Johnston and Bro Jonathan Acheson. One of the most senior members Bro Samuel Peoples received his 25 year jewel presented to him by the newly installed Worshipful Master Bro Peter Olphert. Bro Olphert commended Bro Peoples on his 25 years of hard work and commitment to the lodge. Bro Peoples is seen by the younger members as an excellent example of what it takes to be an excellent bastion of the Orange Order.

The outgoing Worshipful Master Bro William Jamieson received his Past Masters certificate and was commended on his leadership over the past nine years in the chair. No 1 District Master, Bro Maurice Devenny and Deputy District Master, Bro Steven Elder conducted the Installation of Officers for 2008.
